The Dorm
The dorm was originally the first barn and arena here on campus. There is a girl's side and a co-ed side, both of which have quiet hours beginning at 10:00 PM on weekdays. Students are welcome to decorate their room any way they wish. You are also allowed to bring any appliances that may make your room feel more like home. All rooms are equipped with heating and air conditioning as well as the ability to hook up a phone. Cable is not run to this area, but many students do invest in DirectTV or some sort of satellite hook-up. Also located in the dorms for the student's convenience is a laundry facility. It cost 75 cents to wash and dry each load. There is an average of 75 students that attend Meredith Manor, but only about 50 spaces in the dorms. Because of the limited spaces, many students seek to live off campus. Off campus housing is fairly affordable and very available to those students who wish to live elsewhere or could not get a room in the dorm.
As our tour is coming closer to the end we will be making our final stop at Wide and Long Arenas.
